Arcadion Joins Cylix Applied Intelligence: What It Means for Our Customers
Arcadion has officially joined Cylix Applied Intelligence as its dedicated Managed Services Division.
The move grows the expertise available to Arcadion’s customers while maintaining the managed-services principles that have defined the company. Arcadion will keep its focus on managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, support and managed AI, with direct access to a broader enterprise AI, software engineering, data and high-performance computing organization through Cylix Applied Intelligence.
That’s a relationship that matters because enterprise technology is getting more connected. The customer might already have Microsoft 365, identity systems, networks, cloud infrastructure, business applications, and security controls in their IT environment. AI adds another layer with models, agents, retrieval systems, GPUs, data pipelines and new integrations with existing platforms. By joining Cylix, Arcadion can now directly support those requirements, so customers don’t have to cobble together a different set of vendors each time their technology needs move into a new area.
What Joining Cylix Means for Arcadion Customers
Arcadion is now the Managed Services Division of Cylix Applied Intelligence.
The customer benefit is access to a broader set of capabilities across the technology lifecycle, from traditional IT operations and cybersecurity to enterprise AI engineering, data platforms, AI agents, GPU infrastructure, and high-performance computing. A customer can continue to rely on Arcadion for the managed services work it already delivers, then tap into Cylix engineering and AI expertise when a new business need calls for it.
- For one customer, that may mean continuing to operate Microsoft 365, endpoints, networks and cloud services with no change in day-to-day priorities.
- For another, it may mean introducing AI into a finance, service, manufacturing or operational workflow.
- A third organization may need GPU or HPC infrastructure operated under enterprise service levels.
The benefit of the Cylix relationship is that these requirements can now sit inside the same broader organization and be coordinated more closely.
The Arcadion Managed Services Model Remains at the Centre
Arcadion built its reputation by taking responsibility for technology after implementation. That’s still at the heart of what we do. Our fully managed IT services include infrastructure lifecycle management, cloud environments, end-user support, cybersecurity operations, vendor management and long-term technology planning. Our SOC services deliver 24/7 security monitoring, detection, investigation and response across endpoint, identity, network and cloud environments.
Our managed infrastructure services extend this same operating model to co-located infrastructure, GPUs, HPC systems, AI workloads and LLM environments. Joining Cylix doesn’t lose that operational focus. That gives the managed-services teams at Arcadion the engineering foundation and a closer link to the people designing the artificial intelligence (AI) systems and infrastructure that we might be asked to run in the future.
Why Cylix
Enterprise AI sits at the intersection of software, data, infrastructure, security and business operations. Consider an AI agent deployed within a finance, customer service, manufacturing or operations workflow. The agent might need access to internal data, interact with an ERP or CRM platform, rely on APIs, adhere to identity and permission rules, and run on cloud or GPU infrastructure with sufficient capacity to handle demand. All those dependencies must be taken into account for monitoring and security.

From Managed IT to Managed AI Operations
Managed services have always been about continuous accountability. You need to monitor production systems. You need a response process for security events. You need to manage patches. You need to review capacity. You need to support users. You need an escalation path for problems. AI doesn’t eliminate those requirements. It adds further parts and dependencies that have to be operated with the same discipline.
A production AI environment can encompass models, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, GPUs, APIs, orchestration platforms, AI agents, evaluation systems, data pipelines and governance controls. Each part has its own operational requirements and each may link back to the customer’s existing infrastructure and security architecture.
Arcadion already provides Managed Services for AI covering AI and HPC infrastructure, model operations, orchestration, observability, security and ongoing technical support. Current managed infrastructure offerings include operational support for GPU and HPC environments, managed AI, managed LLM workloads, Kubernetes, infrastructure monitoring and AI infrastructure optimization. Joining Cylix connects that operating model directly with a larger engineering organization.
What Cylix Adds to the Arcadion Model
The most significant change is that Arcadion is no longer required to participate in an AI initiative solely at the operational level. The wider Cylix organization can get involved far sooner by evaluating the business problem, preparing the data, designing the architecture, building the application or AI agent, developing integrations and deploying the necessary infrastructure. After the solution goes live, Arcadion can help oversee the environment that results.
That continuity is important because it is easier to support when operational requirements are built into design, rather than bolted on after a system is built. Security, observability, infrastructure capacity, permissions, integration dependencies and escalation processes can be planned in parallel with the application itself.
A Practical Example of the Engineering Capability
Cylix’s work with Kirby Building Systems is an example of the type of production AI engineering that is now available across the broader organization. Cylix developed an AI-based quoting and estimation platform that can process complex customer inquiry documents, structure project requirements, access historical data and generate traceable commercial quotations for estimator review.
The system combines document intelligence, retrieval, enterprise data, model orchestration, application engineering and human approval. When such an application is embedded in a real business process the value is not just in the original build. The integrations, infrastructure, control of access and supporting systems need to keep working. Arcadion’s experience with managed services is relevant because that operational phase is where long term business value is protected.
AI Infrastructure Is Already Part of Arcadion’s Practice
The expansion into AI infrastructure is not a future concept being added to Arcadion on paper. Arcadion already allows organizations running intensive workloads in infrastructure and AI. It provides managed enterprise infrastructure services for colocated systems, GPU and HPC environments, AI workloads and LLM deployments with service options for 24/7 monitoring, GPU cluster management, AI infrastructure optimization, Kubernetes management, backup and disaster recovery, security integration, patching, maintenance and performance management.
These services are provided from a managed services perspective. The goal is not just to put infrastructure in place and let the customer run with it. The goal is to maintain the environment, monitor it, respond to issues and keep it in line with the operational requirements of the customer.
